Freedom, for me, is a value that means the absence of coercion and the ability to make one’s own decisions, as well as to express thoughts without fear of reprisal. Freedom also includes the right to choose, both in politics and in personal matters. Furthermore, freedom entails the obligation to abide by the laws and regulations of the country in which we live, as well as the duty to adhere to the ethical and moral standards that we set for ourselves.
